As a Group we are committed to doing our best to ensure that all our operations are conducted in a manner which are environmentally sound and that encourage sustainable development. In response to a growing!movement internationally prohibiting the emission of harmful automobile fumes, and in response to the local legislated Sri Lanka Vehicle Test Program (SLVET) , Akbar Brothers Limited in collaboration with the renowned Hydropower International (Pvt) Limited commenced the joint venture company CleanCo Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

In close collaboration with the Industrial Services Bureau (ISB), our flagship project “Drive Green” has set up a network of state-of-the-art Drive Green testing centers, offering vehicle owners a fast and convenient avenue for obtaining the necessary certification. We presently operate 15 state-of-the-art testing stations and 10 mobile units islandwide. We maintain the highest standards of service delivery in all channels of operation with prompt service and a professional workforce.
